A: All Adina watches are hard gold plated with either 5 or 3 microns of gold plating which will ensure your watch stays looking great for many years if treating properly.

A: Its a watch glass that is highly scratch resistant.
Q: What is a fully repairable movement?
A: A movement that can be dismantled and adjusted rather than completely replaced.
Q: How long will my battery last?
A: A battery has the ability to last anywhere between 2 - 3 years.
Q: Why after a heavy knock does my watch go backwards?

Q: You will often see at the 4 O'clock position the roman numeral IIII rather than IV. Why?
A" Simply ..... it is more aesthetically pleasing to the eye as it balances the dial.

Q: Is my watch water resistant with the screw crown left undone.
A: No.
Q: I get a rash from wearing watches. Can I wear an "ADINA" watch?
A: Most of the time people are allergic to nickel in either Stainless Steel or used in the plating process. Adina watches only use the highest grade nickel free Stainless Steel and only plate using a nickel free process ,so in many cases yes. If you are particularly sensitive, a Titanium or fob watch is the answer.
Q: Can a watch be overwound?
A: No.
Q: How do I change the time if my Adina has a screw crown?
A: The crown must be undone toward yourself before you are to engage the mechanism (refer to your G u arantee slip)
Q: Why is my Adina watches second hand jumping 5 seconds at a time?
A: Your Adina is equip ped with a function called "end of life" indicator or EOL. When your watch battery power is getting low it will conserve energy and inform you that it is time to change the battery without stopping - very clever. I'm sure you agree.
Q: Is there anything wrong with my chrono timing hands if they are not reset ting to the start position?
A: Usually the watch has been in use d in split model and is basically ' confused ' . To reset all functions enter through the crown and do so manually. Consult your instructions for further details.
Q: Can I operate my pushers or crown underwater?
A: No.
Q: Can I wear my watch to bed?
A: Certainly as long as you don't have a magnetic mattress on the bed which will stop your watch whilst in contact with the mattress.
Q: Can I wear my watch in the shower?
A: Of course you can wear your Adina in the shower as long as it is part of our Countrymaster or Oceaneer collection and the screw crown is engaged and if the battery has been changed the seals have been tested and if required changed .
Q: How long will my Automatic go for if I'm not wearing it.
A: The watch has the ability to stay on time for appro 40 hours.
